Smart Moves Business Consulting is solely run by Kristen Petroff (me) who, after 13 years in corporate travel accounting, went independent, then went corporate again, and then got into QuickBooks. That was 25 + years ago.

Never having been to college, my accounting training came from two places: a lovely Brit that took me under her wing at my first travel agency and then, years later, an ex Arthur Anderson accountant who had a multi-million dollar travel agency with his wife in Los Angeles. From them, I received better training than anyplace I could have paid for.

I have worked in various accounting capacities for the following: Franchise businesses (Set Up and Training), Business Purchases and Sales, retail, wholesale, e-commerce, construction, travel, restaurants, import/export, landscaping, home improvement, interior design, fitness, legal, photography, day care, home health care and more.
